Dr. Jordan Reizer, D.C.

I graduated from Ocean County College in Toms River, New Jersey in 2013 where I studied Human Performance and Kinesiology. Following O.C.C I enrolled in the prestigious Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, S.C where I then graduated after a four year intensive program to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. I have earned my Certificate of Attainment from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. As a chiropractic student, I furthered my studies by attending various technique seminars around the world to enhance my skills and abilities to better serve my patients. I have completed over 100 hours post graduate education in the Gonstead adjusting technique.

(Therapeutic Modalities Qualified- South Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners)

As an intern at Sherman College, I was chosen to be a part of the A.C.E intern program where I helped other students advance their skills in analyzing the spine, finding the cause, and enhancing their chiropractic technique to help restore health to the human body. I have always had a deep desire to help people through chiropractic care, due to the miraculous health benefits that I have experienced while growing up in a chiropractic family. My experiences have given me a great opportunity to learn to care for a wide variety of ailments from which my patients may suffer.

My mission is to restore health through natural chiropractic care, allowing my patients to live their lives to the fullest.

I grew up in Howell, New Jersey. My parents met at Sherman College and have been practicing chiropractic in Howell, New Jersey for the past 36 years. I have always strived to be a lifelong learner to serve my friends, family, and community. I have always had a burning desire for health and fitness. I was taught at a very young age to take care of your body, because 'you only got one'. Throughout my life I loved to compete in baseball, basketball, and football. I practice with my wife and high school sweetheart, Dr. Shannon Reizer, D.C. We both love the outdoors and hiking the Blue Ridge in North Carolina. When we arrived in Sumter, we fell in love with the people and the area, we knew that this was the community we wanted to serve and be a part of. We could not be more excited to serve and help grow such an amazing community.

Dr. Shannon Reizer, D.C.

In undergraduate college at Stockton University, I studied biology sciences until 2015. Following my undergraduate studies, I was accepted and enrolled at Sherman College of Chiropractic.I graduated Cum Laude from Sherman College of Chiropractic after an intense four year program with an extensive background in philosophy, art and science of chiropractic. I have earned my Certificate of Attainment from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. While in Chiropractic school, I donated my time helping the local Miracle League Baseball teams play games as a buddy for the kids and also volunteered my time setting up and working the annual Lyceum event held at the college. As an intern, I have also obtained additional hours outside of the classroom to expand my knowledge in neurology, physiology, adjusting techniques, and functional assessments. Throughout my time in school I extended my studies as a member of the Academy of Chiropractic Excellence as a clinical intern. This program allowed me to directly mentor fellow students in the many techniques of adjusting. During my time in clinic I was selected as Intern Of the Month for excellence in service to my patient. I have a strong background in the sought after Gonstead Technique.

My experiences have given me a great opportunity to learn and to care for a wide variety of ailments from which my patients suffer. When I was 18 years old, a time when many feel “young and healthy” I had a multitude of digestive issues daily and also had low back pain that prevented me from standing up for more than two hours without almost crippling to the floor in pain. I was devastated everyday that I couldn’t work, I couldn’t enjoy what I loved to do on a day to day basis, I couldn’t see my low back pain getting better without surgery or me getting any answers regarding my GI issues without getting ping ponged from one doctor to the next. With chiropractic care my pain was gone, my digestive issues resolved and I was back living the life a young and healthy 18 year old should be living. This is when I knew I wanted to become a Chiropractor to help others as I had been helped.

My mission is to restore health through natural chiropractic care, allowing my patients to live their lives to their fullest potential.

I grew up along the coast of New Jersey in a community where everyday was a good day at the beach. I’ve always had a passion for health through food, exercising, and especially mental health. I have always been an active person and loved playing all sports growing up. My strongest roots stem from when I was a gymnast at age five to age ten and also from competitive cheerleading for almost 10 years with many national and state titles. I now love weight lifting and yoga meditation. My high school sweetheart, Jordan Reizer will be joining me in practice and we plan to be married in the next five years.. We love animals and both love to be outside, travel and experience new places. We could not be more excited or grateful to be apart of this small town family in this. We look forward to meeting and serving you and your family soon. Be blessed!
